The Vatican has recalled a collection of precious metal collectible coins meant to commemorate Pope Francis, because the name "Jesus" was misspelled as "Lesus."
The Catholic News Service (CNS) tweeted a picture of the medal, which was released Monday, and which was ringed with an embossed Bible passage in Latin, reportedly a favorite of the new pontiff. The snippet was translated perfectly into the dead language, but the easy part -- Jesus' name -- fell to a simple typo.
Four were sold before the mistake was found, immediately making them collectors' items.
