It's been 30 years since Cyndi Lauper's breakthrough album She's So Unusual was released, but the star is still quirky and offbeat, as you'll see in her new reality show Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual, premiering Saturday night on WE tv.
The show follows Cyndi as she tries to balance her music career with the responsibilities of being a mom to her 14-year-old son Declyn, and a wife to her husband of 20 years, actor David Thornton -- a feat that Cyndi calls "the struggle of the juggle."
Viewers will come along for the ride as Cyndi works on her upcoming Broadway musical Kinky Boots, appears on The Voice, serves as the Grand Marshall of a parade at the Kentucky Derby, writes her autobiography, works with her True Colors charitable foundation and deals with wardrobe malfunctions, production delays and everything else that comes along with being a globe-trotting pop star with several generations of fans.
