Refreshing change of pace...just in time for baseball season once April rolls around and I can enjoy those Saturday trips down to Philadelphia to see my beloved Phillies. And while we're on it, everyone seems to talk about the "4 Aces" in Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels, Roy Oswalt and now Cliff Lee. Try to beat that hand!
Speaking of refreshing...the music on WSUS has been sounding better than ever. Even though I don't live in the immediate Sussex County, NJ area I've been tuning in via the iheart radio app on my iPhone 4. We've gotten so much snow that at this point, I've become immune to it. I'm not a big fan of it, but it hasn't deterred me from taking my morning and afternoon walk despite the arctic chill in the air. Speaking of which, please do what you can to remove any and all snow and ice on sidewalks and pathways. That way, nobody gets hurt and people can enjoy the great outdoors!

A radio veteran for over 21 years, Mel Andrews can honestly say he was at both the top and the bottom ofNew Jersey. He realized his boyhood dream of becoming a radio personality with his first gig at WBNJ-FM in Cape May County. Since then, Mel has gained invaluable experience, both on-air and as a promotions director for WPFG-FM in Atlantic City before he made his way up to Sussex County in 1998 at WNNJ-FM in Newton. Mel also spent time at WTSX in Port Jervis, NY before finally arriving to WSUS in 2004.
During Mel's free time, he enjoys going to the beach (when it's warm) and is an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Growing up in Cherry Hill, NJ, he sorely misses the chicken steak sandwiches and the unique Tarantini Panzarottis.
