I'm sure you feel the same way.

This past summer, many of us paid over $4 per gallon to put gasoline in our vehicles.  Fast forward to the present day and suddenly, despite the shaky economy, we are enjoying gas prices at well below $2 a gallon here in New Jersey.  I feel completely gypped from taking any kind of lengthy vacation simply because it was too expensive to travel.  All of a sudden, I notice my wallet not being raided so much at every gas pump I visit.  A full tank of gas in my Chevy Monte Carlo SS last July was about $60; today it's at around $30.  Big difference, eh?  However, I hope I'm at least helping to contribute to the lowering of gas prices by simply not travelling if I really don't have to.  One example would be where I would meet up with friends in Manhattan and I would just sooner leave the car at home and take either the train or the bus into New York.  At the rate it's going right now, we could possibly see gas prices at around $1 per gallon.

Now that would be a Christmas miracle come true!
