Congratulations to the Philadelphia Phillies (sorry Mets fans) for once again winning the National League East crown. I've been a Phillies fan since I was a young kid growing up in the southern NJ area. World Series...here we come!
Not only Major League Baseball is on TV these days, but you've got lots of great shows with all new fresh episodes. I'm a big fan of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles on the Fox Network and am glued to the TV every Monday evening! I also enjoy watching Kitchen Nightmares, The New Knight Rider and a slew of other great programs. Yes, TV is back...but make sure you listen to the radio too!
What is it about the shopping malls and TV commercials? Seems that they've forgotten that Halloween is a few weeks away and Thanksgiving is over a month away, yet they're all geared up for the Christmas holiday shopping season. Are you kidding me? Watching Christmas lights and hearing all the jingles is too much for me right now, even though it's my most favorite time of the year. Rest assured, you won't hear us playing Christmas music until the season is really here!
As for Halloween, I'm not sure if I'm going to reprise my Nacho Libre outfit again. I looked absolutely ridiculous in the outfit, but it got a lot of laughs from a lot of folks, so who am I to complain. Gotta give the people what they want...
I never really knew it, but when I was spending some time with the family a few months ago, I was messing around with the karaoke machine, to which I didn't sound half bad. All the relatives seemed to have enjoyed it and when I jokingly mentioned that I was taking requests, they all handed me some songs to sing! Just don't ask me to sing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" or "I Am Woman (Hear Me Roar)".
