Centenary College has a new Presidential Scholars  Program designed to attract students who have demonstrated strong  academic credentials during their high school career. Interested  applicants must meet the minimum criteria of having a 3.4 cumulative  high school grade point average, as well as an SAT score of 1100 or  equivalent ACT score. The new Presidential Scholars Program provides  students who are selected with a 75 percent discounted rate of tuition  for four years.  This would equal  an out-of-pocket tuition cost of less than $7,500 the first year. Those who are chosen must maintain certain  academic standards to be eligible for this benefit each year.

The program provides leadership opportunities on campus to those who  receive the scholarship. Students will participate in a Junior Year  Academic Challenge in which they will be paired with a faculty member to conduct independent research.

Those who are interested in being considered for the Presidential Scholars Program must complete  admissions applications by Jan. 15.
