I have always been upset with the media for making young girls and women feel they have to be a "certain weight" or look a "certain way" to be beautiful and happy. This has caused so much pain, and,
in some cases, serious, life-threatening eating disorders. Thank you Lady Gaga for trying to put a stop to this ....
Here is Gaga's response to the latest media blitz about her weight gain, courtesy of ABCEPrep
"My weight/loss/gain since i was child has tormented me." she tells her fans. "No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But YOU have." She adds, "My boyfriend prefers me curvier, when i eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier then I've ever been. i am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size. And i love you, and want you to be proud in any form you may take as well."
Gaga has also launched a section of the site called A Body Revolution 2013, and has posted photos and notes that fans have sent her in which they display their body or appearance issues, and speak about how she has inspired them and made them feel better about themselves.
