Thanks for checking out my page! I promise to update it as often as I can. With a little baby girl... it won't be as often as I like... But I'll do my best! -Pinky Swear.
Hi! I'm Jana. And I feel like I am just starting to figure this "life" thing out. As a mother of a one year old girl my world has changed. I still love finding great deals, enjoying wonderful restuarants, and catching a fun happy hour with friends…but I'd skip it all for a smooch & snugglefest with my little lady!
I love an intense film, crave music, and recently (and finally) got back to running. Here's hoping these Mommy lbs melt away.
I work and play a little too much. I'm flawed and BLESSED. No doubt about it.
But yes, in my life before becoming a Mom, I have travelled and lived in many places. I am a southern girl by birth and in my heart. Originally from Alabama I have lived in VA, NC, GA, MO, KS, IN, TN, SC, and FL. I married a Michigan man... GO BLUE! I went to UNC...GO HEELS! And grew up all Bama... ROLL TIDE! I'm SEC football, ACC basketball... and always prefer College sports to Pro Sports. And I know enough about them all to be dangerous.
I am plugged into pop culture like a champ! Whether its celebrity gossip, hot trends in fashion and make up, or current events...I'm your girl. Oh, and I'm a total wine-o! I love a great wine list.
There really may be an app for everything now.
This meditation app walks you through multiple 30 minute meditation routines. Reviews say its a great to way to start. Learning how to unplug...while completely plugged in,
Well... it was nice while it lasted. I used to think that one less step meant one less thing to do. But now I know it's just cheating myself and my skin. Using Make Up wipes at night instead of washing your face is ultimately bad for your skin.
In the simplest of terms... by not rinsing your face you are still leaving tons of residue from the wipe and your make up on your skin. And over time... this build up robs your skin of what it needs to look its best.
So, for once in a while usage its fine. But for everyday use...Bye bye make up wipes.

I havent done a newsletter with our Christmas card before. But I'm thinking about something short and sweet this year. I do enjoy getting them from friends and family... but I dont want to be THAT girl. You know.. the one who says too much and has everyone whispering behind her back. Every family has one.
So here are some easy guidelines to remember if you are crafting a newletter this year:
1. Short and sweet. No more than one page...and keep the font up around 12. Don't skrink the letters to fit the page. We all know that trick.
2. Don't brag. There is a big difference between, "Sara graduated from college this year..." and "Sara graduated from the prestigious University of ____ with top honors and already has a job making more than you."
3. Nothing negative. Yes, times are tough... but if you can't fill your newsletter happy things maybe this isn't the year to send one with your card.
Short and Sweet, positive, and no bragging.
This is AWESOME!
Happy Water Bottling!
I will very rarely ever ask you for anything... but today I am asking for your help. You may or may not know that my daughter was born premature. While she was born at 35 weeks, 4lbs, 14 oz... and only had to spend a week in the NICU, we were among the lucky ones. My daughter is amazing, in the 90% and thriving.
I need your prayers for another amazing baby. Please say your prayers for Ashton Allen. He was born on his Mommy's Birthday...but only at 23 weeks. He came into the world under 1 lb and a 1/2... and has proven that he is a fighter, just like his Mom and Dad.
Please say your prayers of health and strength for ASHTON ALLEN. He reached 24 weeks today. Every prayer, well wish, and good vibe coming his way will help.
Sometimes in life you have to turn yourself over to faith... this is that time.
I believe in this family.
I believe in Ashton Allen.
I believe in the power of Prayer.
Please pass this along... to your friends, family members, church prayer lists, ...everyone.
Thank you... I really appreciate it.
