Our young hound dog Millie loves to dig. I've had dogs in my life for years. Millie digs holes in the exact places she shouldn't be digging. Like my vegetable and flower beds. Her latest choice of where to dig is under the side deck of my house. Where I've had a nice flower bed for years. This weekend I attempted to repair the hole by dumping 3 bags of top soil into it. By Sunday morning the hole was there again. So now I'm trying to put up a wall with landscaping bricks. They're very heavy to carry. You can see the end result. Millie also has a new place to sleep. Our coffee table!
On Saturday I really enjoyed being at the Spring Open House at Sussex County Community College. While I was there I was told about a couple of up coming performing arts events at the college. Starting this Thursday in the Performing Arts Center you can enjoy the student's production of "Arsenic and Old Lace." Performances run through May 4th Then starting next Thursday the SCCC Theater Workshop players are putting on a special show for little kids. "Once a Pond a Time: The Tales of Thumbelina and Ugly Duckling" will be performed in the Student Center Theater. You can visit: https://sussex.simpletix.com for tickets to both performances.
