My Epic Weekend In Pictures: Snow & Football

This weekend wasn't always too Epic due to the foot of snow we had Saturday into Sunday. Overall still made some fun memories though. Friday my bestie Brad texted our thread and let us know that his daughter Sarah was in town. I haven't seen Sarah since officiating her wedding a few months ago. I was PSYCHED. It was great to be able to simply hang out with her in our usual lower key settings. We had a fun Friday night at Kite's for sure. My Friday night started at Blu Alehouse and it was fun to switch things up a little bit before ending up home. Ironically I ran into my friend Packer Fan Patrick! We had fun talking about our industries and behind the scene stuff.

Saturday morning I was able to get some errands done like dropping off and picking up my dry cleaning. I am much more caught up on that now that the holiday season is over. My main adventure plan for Saturday was to meet up with a friend at The Windlass. I figured it would look pretty before the snow storm got too intense. I pulled up to The Windlass being the only car in their parking lot. Uh oh! Two cars then parked after me. They were watching me go to the front door to confirm that yes they were indeed closed. Pivot pivot pivot. I was then able to meet up with my friend at Stone Water. We definitely enjoyed the pretty snow flakes kissing Lake Hopatcong. Thank goodness we left when we did around 4pm. The intensity of the snow storm really started going into peak mode. On my drive from Lake Hopatcong to Vernon, I drove by 5 car spinouts. No exaggeration. 5 car spinouts. It was intense. I was very happy to have my car parked in a space at home and then not have to go anywhere. One of the biggest negatives to living where I do is the parking, especially during snowstorms. Without assigned parking spaces, there have been many times of me spending hours shoveling out my spot, only to have someone else take it on me. Hopefully this time around the bobcats can remove snow from our parking lots.

Sunday was digging out day. We definitely got approximately 11 inches of snow from this storm. We aren't looking forward to tomorrow when we get drilled with flooding rain. It took me probably an hour to shovel out my car. I then watched the Patriots Jets game. It was absolutely painful to watch. It's like neither team wanted to win. My Patriots now have the third overall pick. Elephant in the room is whether or not Bill Belichick remains in charge. My Belichick autograph on my living room wall is one of my most prized possessions. As sad as I was when Tom Brady left, this one will hurt me even more. I hopeful Belichick stays as our head coach, and that he lets someone help with the General Manager role.

Hoping that everyone ends up happily ever after.

That's overall my Weekend In Pictures. Snow disrupted it but all good. Very rarely does a snowstorm happen, and I can stay in not having to go to work. I was happy about that at least. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my Epic Weekend In Pictures. Time to start planning next weekend!
