My "Fall Finish" Weekend in Pictures

It was cloudy all weekend and my grandson was not feeling well so I stayed close to home. Christopher has bronchitis so I tried to help my daughter and put the finishing touches on several projects inside and outside the house. The good news is he was feeling better last night. Hopefully, this will be the last weekend of mowing grass for a while. The grass at my church and my home needed mowing this weekend. I also pruned the rose of sharon bush in my front yard. I'm not sure if I'm even going to keep it next spring or rip it out. We'll see what happens. Inside the house I worked on the molding for the new laminate flooring by my fridge and kitchen counter. I really like the way it came out. It was actually an old piece of molding that I sanded and refinished. It saved me 35 bucks to reuse what I had. Our weekend meal was one of my cold weather favorites. I made a meatloaf with a ground beef and pork mix for the first time. It came out great. I'll be having the leftovers for lunch. Gracie is starting to really enjoy Sunday School. She has made some sweet new friends. Next weekend she will be part of a puppet show during our church service. I also visited Matt and Jess this weekend. I can't help it. I just have to post another picture of their sweet puppy Nala. Who jumped right on my lap when I sat down. They're trying to train her not to jump on furniture and house guests. She already knows she can break the rules when grandpa comes over!
