My first weekend of Spring in pictures

The weather this weekend was so beautiful. Yes, a little chilly in the morning but the afternoons were perfect. Of course on Saturday morning I was at Weis Markets for Backpack Snacks for kids. The first hour was pretty quiet but things picked up after that. The first donation was a $100 gift card from Weis Markets. One woman stopped to say hello and told me she couldn't afford to buy so much. I told her every little bit helps. About a half hour later she came by with 5 bags of various snacks for the kids. She said she just wanted to do all she could to feed needy kids. God bless people like her. Then I met Jimmy from Stocker Bus Company. Who came to my table with a check for $150 dollars plus another $50 of his own money. A big thank you to Jimmy and Denise from Stocker Bus company for caring so much about Sussex County's kids. The rest of the weekend I enjoyed being outside my grand children. Cooked a turkey dinner and started the spring clean up in my front yard. Let me just say by Sunday afternoon I realized it was too hot to cook a turkey. It came out delicious but what was I thinking! My favorite picture of the weekend is my grandson Christopher playing with the vacuum cleaner parts in my living room. Anyone who has kids knows no matter how many toys they have. They always get fascinated with other things. Christopher loves the vacuum cleaner.
