Springsteen DWI charges dismissed but pleads guilty to another charge

Yesterday Assistant U.S. Attorney Adam Baker told a Federal Magistrate the government did not have enough evidence to prove DWI and reckless driving charges against Bruce Springsteen. The Boss did admit he consumed two small shots of tequila in an area of Sandy Hook where drinking was prohibited on November 14, 2020. He was fined $540.00. Prosecutors said Springsteen did at first refuse to be tested during field sobriety tests. Then did take a test at the ranger station. That test showed a blood alcohol level of .02 which is below the legal limit of .08. In a related story, Jeep has now returned Springsteen's very political 2 minute Super Bowl commercial to it's website.
