Coronavirus Update: N.J. N.Y. and Pa. March 30 2020

While President Trump extended social distancing guidelines for another month. His top adviser on infectious diseases predicted a "worst case" scenario of between 100 and 200 thousand deaths nationwide. Coronavirus cases in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania grew by several thousand over the weekend. New York and New Jersey continue to have the most cases of the disease in the United States. New York now has over 59,000 infected. While New Jersey has over 13,000. Last night the number of deaths in New York rose to over 1,000. Over 700 of those deaths were in New York City. There have been 161 deaths in New Jersey. Sussex County now has 93 cases. There have been 3 Coronavirus related deaths in Sussex County. Two Newton residents over the age of 90 passed away this weekend. Pennsylvania has over 3.400 cases statewide. There have been 38 deaths statewide. Friday Night Governor Wolfe extended an 8PM to 5AM curfew on non-essential travel statewide.
