A Dictionary of Gen Z slang terms has gone viral

I'll be the first to admit I lost track of what the latest slang words are years ago. When I ask one of my sons or my daughter what a particular phrase means they roll their eyes. How could their dad possibly not know that! Now there's help for people like me and maybe you as well. High School teacher James Callahan created a spreadsheet of the latest slang terms which he calls Callahan's Generation Z Dictionary. After a student posted a picture of the spreadsheet on twitter it went viral. Now people on line are adding more words. Here are some of my favorites:

1) Hop off- Mind your own business

2) High Key- Very obvious

3) Tea/Spill the Tea-Gossip

4) Rashing-Making fun of Someone

5) I'm Dead- That was amusing

6) Snack- A person who looks good

7) Stay up- You'll be OK

8) Tight- Extremely mad

9) Tweakin- Overacting

10) Real One- Someone you trust
