Let's Help Little Bit Get Her New Furever Family!

Meet Little Bit!  This poor 11 year old girl has been rescued and is currently residing with my friends at Father John's Animal House in Sparta / Lafayette.  Little Bit is a local owner surrender, poor Little Bit's owners have fallen on hard times and couldn't care for her anymore.  My heart breaks for both owners and pets who go through those circumstances.  Little Bit was a little shy when she came in at first, and is clearly heartbroken.  Within just minutes, she warmed up and started to cuddle with me.  When an animal breaks out of their shell and opens up to you, it's one of the most rewarding feelings.  You can see on our Facebook Live video below, the moment when Little Bit came over and plopped herself down right by my feet.  It's like she was saying "Hey Steve, I'm ready to meet my new Furever Family now."  Sarah from Father John's Animal House also mentioned that this month is Adopt a Senior Pet month.  She also says that not only is Little Bit great with other dogs, they actually energize her even more.  You can get right to an application page with Father John's Animal House and see their other great pets by clicking here.
