Vernon Man Was Producing Steroid Pills Out of His House

A 35-year-old man, who previously served time in Kentucky for drug trafficking, admitted to operating an anabolic steroid facility out of his Vernon home. Now Kurt D. Tandberg will be headed back to the Bluegrass State to face possible sentencing for breaking his parole.

Tandberg was arrested on June 13 and admitted to having oxymetholone shipped from China so he could make and distribute steroid pills. He pleaded guilty to first-degree maintaining and operating a controlled dangerous substance facility and the assistant prosecutor recommended a 10-year state prison term.

It's up to the court to decide if his N.J. sentence will run concurrent or consecutive to the one he may recieve in Kentucky.

His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 7.
